On April 20, creativity and technology came together in our Robot:Art Workshop! Children unleashed their imagination by designing and crafting robot faces, bringing them to life with Micro:bit. Through art, programming, and electronics, they explored the world of STEM and Maker skills, developing problem-solving abilities and self-expression along the way. More than just a project, this workshop was a space for fun, collaboration, and discovery—where every idea became part of something bigger. Seeing their creations animate was proof that learning can be both exciting and inspiring!
This workshop was made possible thanks to Lina Camacho, After School Coordinator at Centro Hispano de East Tennessee, whose support and collaboration helped bring this experience to the students.
We would also like to give a special thanks to volunteer Pedro Masi for supporting and encouraging the students throughout the workshop. Their enthusiasm and dedication helped create a welcoming and inspiring environment for all participants.
